Howdy Fish Tech Students! Check out a new job posting at the Port Armstrong Hatchery.

Under the supervision of the hatchery manager and assistant hatchery manager, the Fish Culturist is part of the team that is responsible for the production of the hatchery’s 105 million pink salmon, 60 million chums, and 4.5 million cohos. The job entails a broad range of responsibilities for fish culture, harvest and egg-take operations. The Fish Culturist works with the hatchery management in a supporting role and in some circumstances acts as a front-line supervisor for seasonal workers.
